From the BBC

Ok, so I should probably using Twitter or Facebook for stuff like this, but posting in too many places makes me feel scattered. (Which may also be why I read so much stuff through an aggregator...)

Anywho, apparently they've been auctioning off Ingmar Bergman's estate, and the chess set from The Seventh Seal sold spectacularly well. I watched the film for the "Religion in Film" class I took during my history master's. It didn't touch me as much as, say, Diary of a Country Priest, but I thought it was good. It was a little disturbing how much of the Swedish I could understand, though, what with the German cognates, and whatnot.
