So, yeah

We bought a house. (My brain is still going !!!, 10 days later.)

We are mostly moved; the piano and the last bits come over tomorrow.

We are not unpacked; boxes are our current decor.

The cats, while initially terrified, have mostly settled in; they are both fascinated by the kitchen door, through which they are not allowed.

I've discovered that we have enough bookshelves to completely line the dining room. This does not mean that we have enough bookshelves for all the books. >.>

Sometime after Christmas, we will have a dishwasher, and a rehabbed shower.

Moving two weeks before Christmas, by the way, is insane. I don't recommend it. Buying a house at the time we did, though? Probably our best bet.
