So we had a brief panic. We thought the washing machine had died.
The husband was doing laundry last night, and he couldn't figure out why the spin cycle wasn't really... you know... spinning. Agitation, in general, was underpowered. After quite a bit of playing with the knobs and such, the load was finally sufficiently rinsed that he could throw it in the dryer.
And we figured we would be washing machine shopping this weekend.
This morning, in the shower, it occurred to me that the last load I had done was bras and sweaters, on the gentle setting.
Yep, he'd tried to run an extra-cleaning cycle (he triple rinses all his stuff) on gentle. Whoops.
So the washing machine isn't dead, just confused. (Extra cleaning, but be gentle? WTF?!)
