House Garden 2.0

So I started off the garden this year, besides with seed trays, by ripping out the rabbit fence I put in last year.  We have enough neighborhood cats wandering around that rabbits really aren't a problem.  Squirrels, on the other hand...

Anywho, a problem I did have last year was grass creeping in at the edges of the beds.  I really wanted to edge them all in brick, but bricks are a bit too expensive for me right now.  In the interim, I'm going with this:

It's not a perfect install, especially since I'm doing it with the beds already occupied, but I really just want it to help keep the grass out.  So far I've got the largest bed done.  (I really need to weed. >.>  Tomorrow!)

I got a bunch of half off strawberry roots yesterday, so I'm going to see if I can get the bed by the fish pond making strawberries.  Hopefully tomorrow I can get the rest of the edging put in.
