It's Holy Week, which means I'm thinking about my faith in a meta sort of sense again. This morning's drive-to-work realization was that, despite Christmas and Easter being called the "High Holies" of Christianity by some, they're really not the heart of it: they're the bookends. The heart of Christianity is Jesus's message in between those events: charity, poverty, humility, and compassion. I'm not sure why the various church societies emphasize the bookends so much.
Anywho, there's my deep thought for the week.
