So I got Wintersmith from my cousin for Christmas. Our flight home was sporadically delayed - it was scheduled to leave at 6 p.m., but when I checked it at 11 a.m. that day, it was already delayed an hour. We went ahead in to the airport about 2 to see what was going on, and then went and got some food and whatnot. Then I checked again around 3:30, and the delay was gone. So we went back to the airport and got our baggage checked and such. I started reading while we waited, about 4 p.m. The flight didn't end up taking off till 7 p.m. We landed in Detroit about 8:30 - 9:30 EST with the time change. This was about the same time our connection was scheduled to depart; luckily they were holding it for several passengers, including us. We didn't actually take off till past 11 p.m. I ran out of book around 11:30.
So anyway, this is the 3rd Tiffany Aching book by Terry Pratchett. It's basically her further adventures and studies in witching. She inadvertently gets pulled into the seasonal cycle, and the Wintersmith confuses her for Summer, which leads to much trouble. Like the others, an enjoyable read.
